Relax and have fun in A more modern Approach
Step into the Hideaway Cottage – a modern escape nestled in nature. With sleek interiors and contemporary design, this chic retreat offers a perfect blend of style and tranquility. Unwind in a space where modern comfort meets natural beauty, creating an idyllic haven for relaxation.
The Clam River Hideaway has a wheelchair ramp and many amenities and grab bars to assist people with mobility issues. The main floor bathroom has a wheelchair entrance, grab bars and shower chair. The entry doors are 36” wide. The top deck is wheelchair accessible and has a shallow slope down to the river.

Get a Good Night’s Sleep
Get a good sleep or nap on a comfy bed with fresh linens and lots of pillows. Your cottage is equipped with AC/heat, one bedside phone, and large windows to enjoy the view of nature.
Place to Whip up Your Meals
You’ll find a complete electric stove (4 burners), along with a propane grill. Ask for a charcoal grill if you prefer. We’ve got your hot drinks covered with coffee, tea, and a coffee maker. Store your goodies in a full-size fridge, and enjoy a fully equipped kitchen stocked with everything you need—griddles, turkey roasters, blenders, electric fry pans, crock pots, 4-slice toasters, and more. Our kitchens are better equipped than most!
Time for a Bathroom Break
Freshen up in your private bathroom with a warm shower. We provide soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Each cottage has two full bathrooms with heater. Both cottages also provide grab bars and Hideaway has a walk-in wheelchair accessible shower.
Right At Your Doorstep
Each cottage has over 2 acres of land, a fire pit with plenty of chairs and firewood with firestarters provided, a picnic table, bistro tables and other outdoor chairs to enjoy the beautiful Clam River view.

For adventure lovers, try hunting and fishing when it’s season time. Explore nature for a thrilling and rewarding experience. The Clam River is one of Michigan’s top Trout fishing rivers. There are several small lakes within a short driving distance to boat fish. There is also abundant state land nearby for hunting.

Join us for some water fun in a beautiful setting along the Clam River. We have a total of 8 kayaks, 2 canoes and a lot of inner tubes to ensure that everyone can enjoy the fun
